Anderson Composites Congratulates NMCA West Autocross and NASA Winners

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

City of Industry, CA (May 23, 2018) – Anderson Composites congratulates Paul Molina and Jordan Priestley for their class wins at the third NMCA West autocross event sponsored by Nitto Tire. NMCA West is an affiliate to ProMedia Events which organizes NMRA and NMCA drag racing series. The autocross event took place at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California and was organized by Racing Byrds. These NMCA West sanctioned events typically have 84-90 drivers each day during the weekend.

Southern California native, Paul Molina drove his 2017 Shelby GT350R which features an Anderson Composites carbon fiber hood and trunk lid. Paul won first place on Saturday in the Modern Muscle class. He also signed on as a sponsored driver for Anderson Composites and also participates in the Optima Ultimate Street Car Association events and SCCA Pro Solo events across the country. We look forward to more success with Paul and his Shelby this season.

Jordan Priestley, owner of JDP Motorsports from Sandy, Utah gets as much seat time as he can with his C7 Grand Sport Corvette nicknamed, “Bernice”. His C7 features Anderson Composites hood, rockers, mud guards, rear diffuser and exhaust surround. He captured first place for the Pro class on Sunday and first place for the entire weekend event. Jordan also participates in the Optima Ultimate Street Car Challenge Series events and is a definite competitor in their GTS class.

Anderson Composites also congratulates Russ Taylor with Team Fusion of Ideas with his second-place finish at the National Auto Sport Association time trials at Auto Club Speedway. Russ started in twelfth position and quickly moved up in the field in his 2015 Chevy
Camaro Z28. The Z28 features Anderson Composites carbon fiber fenders, doors, roof and trunk lid. According to Russ, the carbon fiber components reduced the cars weight by approximately 115 pounds which helped displace the weight gained for the custom roll cage that he added for Super Touring class road racing.
