*Highly recommended for use with all composite hoods.  

*OEM and aftermarket gas struts were designed for metal/aluminum hoods and are too strong for composite hoods, continued use will cause excess pressure on hood resulting in cracks.  

*Damages to the hood that results from the use of gas struts will not be covered under warranty.
