City of Industry, CA (March 15, 2018) – Formula D driver, Justin Pawlak (JTP) revealed his new Mustang for the 2018 drift season. His Mustang features a new look with a Falken Tire stylized wrap and white Forgestar wheels. Justin also utilized Anderson Composites carbon fiber fenders, hood, doors, decklid, spoiler and quarter panels to help reduce the overall weight of the car. This 10-piece carbon fiber body kit will soon be available for purchase as a special order item for 2018-19 Ford Mustangs.
Justin will campaign the season with a brand new, Roush Performance supercharged Ford Performance Coyote crate engine, that he built with his crew. The race car pushes out 1,000 horsepower! Justin T. Pawlak’s drifting career started in 2005. He succeeded in JustDrift, Formula D Pro-AM, earning his Formula D license and also securing a first place finish at Los Angeles NIPI Drift. In 2008 he campaigned for the Formula Drift Championship where he has been a consistent top 7 performer. JTP is a “hands-on” driver who does his own mechanical, fabrication and suspension design.
JTP’s dedication to the sport of drifting is evident in the wide variety of exhibitions, demonstrations and charity events he frequents. He studied automotive technology at the Universal Technical Institute and is known for his grazing wall rides and his aggressive but smooth driving style.
