FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
City of Industry, CA (June 7, 2019) – Hood safety should always be addressed for every auto enthusiast that is using an aftermarket composite hood. Anderson Composites now offers Quik-Latch QL-50 and QL-38 Series pin kits to provide owners more options to securely fasten their hoods or other body panels. These finely designed and patented kits feature an easy push button release mechanism which allows for fast body panel removal.
These fasteners offer a sleek and simple design that mount to the hood and line up with the ball stud placed on the core support, or bracket. Once the hood is closed, the Quik-Latch fastener will automatically latch to the stud and will not release until the center button on top of the mechanism is depressed.
Quik-Latch products have a black Cerakote finish and are made of T6 aluminum and stainless steel to prevent corrosion. Pin kits include the necessary hardware and ball pins for installation. Pin kits do not include mounting brackets due to the complexity and variety of different vehicle makes and models. Kit components will not rust or scratch painted surfaces with unwanted cables or clevis pins. Pin kits are manufactured in the United States and can be painted to match a vehicle’s color if desired.
